Mohamed is senior executive and development expert with extensive knowledge of energy markets in Middle East and Africa. For more than 25 years he has served in multinational organizations such as ABB and IBM. He currently serves as Country Managing Director of ABB Power Grids in Egypt, North and Central Africa. ABB Power Grids is the global leader in power grid sector, with pioneering technologies for the past 130 years and continue to do so.
Over his career, Mohamed Elhosseiny has managed large and complex operations in several countries in the Middle East and Africa. He also played instrumental role in developing services in Africa when he was Regional Service Manager in ABB. He led several development programs in ABB aiming to deploy renewable energy and energy efficiency in Egypt and Western Africa.
Mohamed was an active member in American and German chamber of commerce and sat on their industry and energy committees.
Mohamed is a trained Electrical engineer with a bachelor’s degree from faculty of Engineering, Cairo university. He holds an MBA in International business and Diplomas in Management, Sales and Marketing and project management from prominent institutes in Egypt and Switzerland.
